A full schedule of programs and field trips offers a unique and valuable opportunity to study natural sciences and all meetings are free and open to the public. The club's newsletter, Nature Notes, keeps members informed of current activities. In addition to main club activities, ONC offers two specialized study groups, Botany/Entomology, Ornithology, and a sanctuary. See the 2011-2012 calendar (updated 1/10/12) for a complete schedule of events. We meet the second Thursday March and May for our general business meeting and annual pot luck supper, at Bayland Community Center |

Ornithology (OG) OG members are interested in birds. Some members focus on bird identification and listing, some enjoy studying bird behavior and habitat, some just enjoy watching birds. The OG is organized to accommodate all of these diverse birding interests. Members also benefit from the synergism of getting together to share knowledge and interests during the group's activities. OG also publishes a group newsletter, the Spoonbill and maintains a separate OG website. We meet the first Monday, August through May, except September when we meet the second Monday, at Bayland Community Center
